Shirley Wertz loved riding horses, but she also has degenerative Rheumatoid Arthritis. The result of this condition is that it destroyed both of her hip sockets, and her freedom. The only solution is TWO total hip replacements. She completed the first replacement surgery this past September and is scheduled to get the second one this coming March. With proper rehab and hard work, Shirley will be able to ride again.
